hello you, reading this post - hopefully you caught onto the Peep Show reference (one of my favourite shows) and are intrigued enough to read on

let me preface this post with the following: i'm looking only for platonic, online friendships with no possibility of evolving into anything other than that. i'm in a happy, long term relationship and currently in the process of uprooting my life and moving to the US to be with my partner

for those still reading - hi! i'm a 30 year old male from the UK, in search of some online friends to text with, voice call (preferred) and possibly play video games with!

during the weekdays after I finish work, I have a lot of downtime (my weekends are spent mostly with my partner) and would like to fill that time getting to know some neat folk.

i'm a product tester so I work with a lot of electronics (like mobile phones, laptops / desktops, games consoles, home automation, drone etc etc) - i love to play games and watch shows / movies at the same time, so it would be be neat to do the same with others!

ideally i'd like to find people based in the UK or Europe due to timezone differences in other places being a problem, however i'd be happy to converse with anyone who'd like to converse with me :)

currently getting started with the Final Fantasy VII Remake, with some light Diablo IV on the side. I also play games like Deep Rock Galactic, Minecraft, Human Fall Flat, Helldivers 2 (co-op stuff is my vibe - I don't play anykind of MMO, MOBA or competitive shooter)

i'd like to put forward that i'm easy to get along with and a very social person (with the right people - i'm good at telling when the "vibe" is off)
