I am 34, 6'4", in shape, and I’ve spent enough time in classrooms (spent more time in school than I care to admit) to appreciate both great ideas and great conversations. I value empathy and curiosity, and believe that humor is best when it’s subtle and sharp, and at times dark.

I lean liberal, but I view the world as gray instead of black and white. For example, I stand with the second amendment (I frequent shooting ranges) while pushing for more stringent gun control laws.

I am a financial director for a government contractor and thoroughly enjoy my job and my career. It allows to be flexible with where I work and allows me to travel.

Outside of work, you’ll find me staying active, keeping up with the world with a menagerie of podcasts, or running outside listening to my latest book on tape. I enjoy cooking and messing up perfectly good recipes with unnecessary twists (though occasionally I do land on something yummy). Currently teaching myself the banjo, as part of my 2025 goal of minimizing screen time.

One caveat, I am divorced and co-parent two kids with my ex, with her having 75% custody due to the age of the kids. The split was amicable. Being a father is a very important part of my life, so if that's a no go, no hard feelings.
