Hey everyone,

Thank you for clicking and welcome to this post about me! I’ve sent some messages here and there and met some great people but since relationships weren’t in the cards so far, I thought I’d post something myself. (Again, hahaha)

This is me:

I’m Belgian, with Dutch as my mother language. Besides English I also speak okay Swedish and Finnish (and looking to get better!). I am slightly small (1m65), wear glasses and have shoulder length dark brown hair. I mostly wear jeans and t-shirts with geeky prints or metal bands and I could probably do with eating less cake.

I enjoy things you would expect from someone posting on here, like reading, writing, watching series, and playing tabletop games. Some of my favourite geeky things are Star Trek, One Piece, Dungeons and Dragons and Stormlight Archive. Right now I’m reading Dungeon Crawler Carl. Bit more original about me maybe is that I’m also into linguistics and politics. Bit less original is that I absolutely adore cats.

This is what I’m looking for:

In the long term I’d like to find someone for a monogamous relationship. In the short term, let's just see if we could be friends! I guess the people I’d get along with the best would be roughly my own age, living roughly in my area, with roughly similar interests. Although completely opposite interests would be fun as well! I love learning new things! I think we would click best though, if you’re fairly left wing, open minded, kind, cuddly and like to share some of your life via message or voice chat. Your looks are only of secondary interest to me but I’ll admit I do enjoy a good beard and/or dad bod.

Full disclosure:

I’m a pretty picky eater and a vegetarian so while I have nothing but respect for people who know their way around a kitchen, I would much rather just eat a sandwich.

While I usually get along with children pretty well, I am very certain I do not want any of my own. People with a vasectomy are instantly more attractive to me!

And finally I love the Nordic countries and am considering moving to Finland or maybe Sweden in the future, no concrete plans yet but I do visit those countries relatively often.
