What’s going on with people these days? Dating has become a nightmare. People are so scarce, dishonest, and arrogant. Is it the online dating that brought us to this?

I value a real connection with someone, I don’t enjoy playing games. Respect my time I’ll respect yours. If there’s a vibe I’m willing to invest to more, but I’ll expect the same.

Here’s my recent failure: Just recently I got on a video call with someone for the first time, who seemed to be so crazy over me. After we specifically arranged time and day for it. we greet ourselves, he’s in the car driving, I find it weird he wouldn’t be prepared for it, but greetings go well, he compliments me and is chatty, I roll with it. I ask him how long he has, since he was driving, he says just five minutes. I’m doubt founded, I ask why just 5 minutes since we set time for this. He says tomorrow he’ll have more. He goes on to take the subject. Before I reply, he cancels the call and blocks me.

Now if this isn’t that a guy who hides things, I don’t know who is. Probably hiding the call before he goes home to his wife? Who knows? All I know is that I’m fed up with dishonest people, and cowards. Is there anyone genuine, honest and willing to put effort?
