Posting on here in hopes of finding folks who are looking for something more serious compared to other subreddits. Turning 30 this year (which I'm definitely not looking forward to) so I figure I finally qualify. I got out of my last relationship almost 2 years ago and haven't really been able to find anyone I click with after that (from some combination of being unlucky and being busy I guess). I've been in a few relationships over the years but I'm a blank slate in terms of never being married, don't have kids, etc. 

Normally hate talking about myself in general (and especially talking myself up) but I'll try my best. Personality wise, I'm a goofy, silly, kind, and thoughtful person. I keep a small circle of friends. I think as I get older it's also harder to spend time with friends the way I used to as people get busy with their own relationships and families, so it feels sort of lonely sometimes. I fill that time with fairly solitary hobbies. I love fitness, reading, thrifting, spending time outside, and taking care of all my houseplants. I'm well educated and in a few years will be settling into a career I'm passionate about that also fortunately will allow me to lead a comfortable lifestyle. I'm family oriented and care a lot about my parents and siblings. Appearance wise, I'm East Asian and I think would be considered relatively attractive.

Basically, I think I'm in a pretty good spot in my own life to find a partner. I'm super independent and don't necessarily need someone else - I do ok taking care of myself but it would be nice to have someone. Hopefully this doesn't come across as too picky but I'm looking for someone who is in a similar position - someone who is kind and a good listener, looking for a serious relationship, has a solid career, takes good care of themselves physically, etc. I'm only open to folks in the US. Looking forward to hearing from you all - please send a little info about yourself and why you felt we might be a good match (so I know you read the post and I have a bit of info about you to work off of).
