The thing about forming connections online is that you eventually want to hang out, and if you don’t, it eventually fizzles out and a good connection just dies. You share your culture with somebody online, you form inside jokes, you find common interests and it fizzles out cause long distance relationships are more fantasy than reality, that’s the hard, unfortunate truth.

Now I’m here posting just to try and find solid friendships from across the globe. I am not offering to host you should you come here on a whim, unless you want to live in my teeny tiny apartment full of boxes. But I will offer to be your tour guide fore free (Manila and nearby provinces is ok, outside Luzon we can talk about), teach you to speak and curse fluently in Filipino (I would really love it if learning new languages is your thing), take you to good spots as long as you’re safe (third world country things), and find you good food that would suit your tastebuds while still forcing you to eat adobo and ube cause who doesn’t like adobo and ube 😏
