So I kept a journal last year and at the beginning of the year I had a list of goals #1 on that list was:
"Make a real friend, or a connection with someone. Care about them"
I didn't accomplish it tbh. If I take an honest assessment of myself I didn't really put myself out there? I tried a handful of hobbies that were new to me but it's hard to connect with people to be honest. I think my age may have something to do with it? But I've been told I don't look my age. I don't know, I would like to connect with someone. Feel seen, and wanted. Have someone look forward to talking to me, and me them. I want to try again this year. Earnestly. Seriously.
About me: I'm Hispanic, and I'm in technology management (think consulting). I like to lift weights and will never turn down a good soup. I like watching drama movies and tend to avoid reality tv mostly because I will get hooked. I'm bilingual if that helps. Anything else you want to know just ask.
Honestly just looking to connect.
