So it’s the new year….does that mean I have to be a new me…..um no. I’m going to be the same old me tomorrow that I am today. Lol  But what I would like is to meet some new people and form some new connections.

Where that might lead and what that might mean is anyone’s guess. For now I just want friendship. Like minded folks that understand life doesn’t revolve around me or you. That time doesn’t stop around our conversations. We might be able to talk daily. Or I might not be able to write for a week. But you as that person on the other side understand that this is the way the world works and aren’t going to judge me for having responsibilities or ghost me because it took me a little bit to get back to you.

You see I’ve tried this before and I’ve found that the online world of friendship can be very needy. And while I understand that I wish that others understood the other side. I have a job, and things that take time to take care of. Would love to tell you about those things if you are willing to get to know me. I want friendship and connections like anyone else. But they take time to build and form.

Now back to that whole new me bs. I know at this time of year everyone is trying their new years resolutions and there are a few things that I want try as well. So tell me about yours. What are your goals this year. Maybe I can be that encouraging friend in your ear giving you that little bit of extra confidence to reach your target. Or maybe I’ll be the reality check to tell you that ain’t happening. Who knows? Devil is in the details as they say.

If you have read this far, I’ll give you some more general info on me. I’m single and looking to chat and get to know other single men. Yes, I said single, as in not married, not in an open relationship, not coupled and looking for a third, not a cheater, cheater pumpkin eater. None of that tom foolery. Whether it’s for friendship or more I just find it weird talking to another woman’s dude. Call me old fashioned but I’m pretty sure you gentlemen wouldn’t want your ladies talking to random men, so, eh hem I digress..

I love music, my animals and sometimes certain members of my extended family. I enjoy the outdoors on occasion but not going to lie. I’m a bit of an introvert although some might call me antisocial. Haha. What? Like that’s wrong. I am really trying to change that in the new year though so that is something on my list for 2025. Hmm what else. Plus size in all the wrong places but working it….I mean working on it.
