My brother had some success in finding a partner here, and he suggested it I give it a shot. I am intrigued to see whom I can attract not by pics but by what I write. Having said that, I am happy to exchange pictures early on.

I'm a civil engineer in the DC area and live with my dog. I travel a good amount and try to prioritize 2-3 trips per year. I'm also a homebody, my days of going out and staying late are long gone. Occasionally, I enjoy a good party outing or a late dinner. I spend a good amount of time outside walking my dog listening to audible (this is my vice), even now during the coldest months of the year you'd find me bundled up hiking up a trail. I don't watch much TV alone, I prefer to watch with someone. Rarely will you find me binging a show, but I can sit down and watch a movie if it's a good one. I'm taller than average and have darker features, coming from my mom's Hispanic side. I enjoy yoga and recently started weight training (that's been a new journey for sure). I also run 2-3 times a week. I am in a good place emotionally, having ended a relationship half a year ago and I'm open to exploring something new, but I'm not rushing in. I also just finished grad school, and I'm looking for a new adventure. I'm sexually open and kink friendly and don't assign timelines nor do I expect anything to occur if it isn't organic.

Ideally, I'm looking for someone who is outgoing, emotionally available (this is important. If you have trust issues or if you need time to heal, give yourself that), communicative, has a secure attachement style, and enjoys constant texting/voice notes/calls. I would prefer someone local as I'd like to eventually meet, but I'm open to travel. Ideally, we get to know each other thru a natural back and forth, meet, and develop an amazing relationship. I would want someone who is actively thinking of how to improve themselves. Someone who is passionate about what they dedicate themselves to at work or in their spare time. Someone who is adventurous when it comes to intimacy. Most of all, I want someone who can carry a conversation and expose me to new things!
