It's not smoking, or drinking, or biting my nails. Even worse.
I have a terrible habit of breaking up with "the one" only for them to move on and get everything out of life they've ever hoped and wished for, be it a child, a dream job, or some other means of fulfillment, leaving me sitting in my underpants, eating ramen, watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia on repeat. I feel like I'm living in some generic version of the movie Good Luck Chuck.
I know i'm on the wrong side of 40 to find love, but I can't even find like these days. Touch starved and craving companionship, I've crawled my way back onto Reddit. 4 Billion women in the world and I'm sipping very peaty scotch, hoping someone stumbles across this post and wants to chat.
If you can take immature humor, enjoy live music, are semi-capable of adulting, enjoy fantasy/sci-fi, are the occasional gamer, say you want to get in better shape but put off making any effort, and most importantly, crave a connection with someone who is genuine, goofy, self-deprecating, and hard working, you should shoot me a DM.
Even if you just want to chat for a bit then ghost me, at least it'll past the time. Might as well give it the ol' college try!
