Turns out my ideal man isn't hiding between the pages of my books (and I've checked 50 of them this year alone). After reading too many novels, I'm ready to write my own romance chapter - preferably with someone who walks that delicious line between light and dark and would watch the world burn to keep me safe. Wings aren't required, but I wouldn't complain if you happened to be a centuries-old vampire or Fae.
When I'm not lost in a good book, you'll find me: * Cuddling with my German Shepherd (who must approve of you, naturally) * Working on making the world a little better * Starting more craft projects than I'll ever finish (but hey, it's about the journey, right?) * Secretly hoping for a forced proximity situation (though long-distance means we'll have to skip the "only one bed" trope for now)
Looking for my impossible book boyfriend who: * Is well-read (or at least enjoys listening to my rants about why the morally grey hero is always superior) * Is ready for meaningful long-distance conversation (consider this our slow burn arc) * Is real (unlike all those fictional anti-heroes who've set my standards impossibly high) * Is within 10 years of my age (immortal beings excepted, of course)
No need for a meet-cute or dramatic airport chase scene - though I wouldn't mind if you showed up mysteriously in the dead of night. Just message me with your favorite book and least favorite trope. Bonus points if you tell me which fictional villain was actually the hero of their story.
