Hello there everyone. I hope your night is going well.

I'm a middle aged weirdo - single with no kids - and I'm looking for people who are my kind of weird, and also have time in their lives for a friend. I'm ultimately looking for a partner, so I would prefer you be unattached and open to that sort of thing, but I'm not into forcing things in any way. People here are so busy and stressed all the time, and what I ultimately want someone who prioritizes being human and connecting with others the way that I like to.

Locals are best, on the north side of Seattle, hopefully. I am also open to Danish or German speaking people anywhere for reasons that will become obvious later in this post :D

I want someone unique, emotionally available, altruistic, kind, progressive, chatty, who is a direct communicator, is empathetic, and between the ages of 30 and 50. I want someone who wants to know me, who has some banter, who will share themselves with me, and who has some idea of who they are and what they want. I don't want the laundry list of what "women want," I just want someone to show up and be themselves and see if we mesh. I am not looking for casual sex or any sex-based relationship. I am looking for friendship first, ideally more if that develops. I have no "type" physically, though I am drawn to unique things about a person's appearance. I like when people are comfortable with themselves.

I'm neurodivergent and communicate directly. I am fat, but walk and bike regularly and am comfortable and confident in my own skin. I love to travel, and am trying to figure out how to relocate to Copenhagen - which is very difficult - but I love it there. I've grown up here most of my life, but lived elsewhere. I'm a former sociologist, and like to think a lot about society, culture, and people. I'm a nerd - I run modded minecraft servers for friends sometimes, play board games and video games, read and watch sci-fi and fantasy most often (dystopians are my favorite, what's yours?). I'm learning Danish and German - if you speak either or are interested in either place, that would be dope.

Mostly, I just want someone who will be weird with me, have drinks or adventures, game or watch stuff together, accept and support each other, talk about real stuff, laugh about the world, cry about the world, etc. I like some mellow chill time, but I need to also have some more exciting, spontaneous activities too.

I will only respond to people who are within my age range, and who try and share some part of themselves with me. I will share with you, but I want you to share with me also.
