Hi, I'm Darin, 44 years old living in Washington, DC. I am single, never been married, no kids, and I spend half my week working from home. I work for an advertising agency and find the days in the office more fulfilling due to the social interaction while the days at home are more mundane. I'd love to find someone to talk to, get to know, share everything from our day-to-day all the way to our most personal and even secret thoughts.
I find language, writing, and communication to be so powerful. The extra adjectives, the Oxford comma, well composed complete sentences, can all come together to create the feeling of truly being there and lead to extremely vivid and warm conversations that one can feel. Those conversations can also leave you wanting more, excited for the next message, question, or answer.
My interests include cooking, art, museums, music, exploring the city as well as getting out into the fresh air and hiking, biking, or gardening.
