I enjoyed the warm colours of autumn, but now the streets are grey and soggy. A good way to remedy the slump would be with something pleasant and exciting, like new sparks of friendship. Therefore - hello. I'm here, and sort of advertising myself. I currently lack people to talk to and maybe to call. I greatly prefer to look among similar time-zones and a similar age range. Other things, as long as there's something to talk about, are not so important. I am not looking to date.

Preferably, too, we would have some topics in common. I would like my friends to have egalitarian and equal-opportunity world-views.

I work as a programmer. Talking about IT or discussing the industry can be fun, but I don't do it very often outside of work hours. A few things in the area that do interest me greatly are biorobotics and anything that even remotely relates to solarpunk.

I love to read. My favourite authors are Hilary Mantel and Terry Pratchett. The past few years I've been catching up with a variety of classic literature, but I also enjoy historical fiction. I used to be a prolific fantasy reader, too - I think I just got a little bit fatigued of genre fiction. Maybe most of all, I am a student of poetry and always enjoy reading some. Much to talk about there.

Other things I like to do is practice drawing/sketching, vidya, and fitness. Progress/accountability pals would be fun. As for games, I don't play single-player much, so finding someone - a person or a group - to play with would be fun, too. I like most competitive games and I'm always down to try out MMOs, though these days I don't sink an outrageous amount of time in them, so the more grindy ones are a no.
