35 [F4F] UK Looking for Another Nerd

Hi!

I'll start off by saying that I'm lesbian, some flavour of asexual, and not necessarily looking for romance but certainly feeling that I'm missing my other half right now. I really just want someone kind and good-humoured to spend time with, whether that's through gaming, watching stuff together, cooing over fictional men, or just chatting about nonsense.

I'm an introverted nerd, suspect I'm autistic, but I'm fairly well functioning in a decent WFH job and my own house.

I love gaming, with a big focus on FFXIV right now (and I really want to get into roleplaying on there but I'm also pretty shy about it). Other big hits are basically anything Pokémon, anything Xenoblade, and boy am I looking forward to Monster Hunter Wilds! Someone to play that with would be great!

I love a ton more games and generally will play most stuff besides horror (unless you want me to be a whimpering wreck), sports games and (most) shooters. Hero shooters are so-so. I used to play Overwatch when it first came out but I won't touch Blizzard's stuff these days (despite spending 15 years or so playing WoW.)

So, I'm rambling, and I do this a lot. This is a thing about me. I love to talk at length about things that excite me, so it happens. But I also love to hear other people do the same! I prefer quick-fire messages though, you might just get a bunch in a row rather than huge long walls of text.

Other things I love:

Anime! Watching Dandadan right now and loving it. Big fan of Dungeon Meshi, Frieren, My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer and Witch Hat Atelier.

Sometimes I like to draw but I'm so distracted by other stuff that it doesn't happen often, and then it might happen a bunch.

I write a lot. Been a roleplayer since I was like 10 years old. Modern fantasy is my usual go-to. I have a lot of characters in my head and they're mostly gay lmao.

I listen to music a lot but I've yet to find anyone with similar tastes to me!

I might try to teach you how to play Riichi Mahjong. I love mahjong a whole lot and I'm fairly good at it - and I don't mean the tile-matching version! Think... poker? With tiles.
