Hello 👋 It's thanksgiving week. What are we thankful for? So this is the second time I've gotten sick this month. I think it's just been a particularly stressful month but the back to back colds and lack of sleep are not fun! 0/10 do not recommend.
Which means I'm binging plenty of shows. I just finished The Penguin and really enjoyed it. This time of year I'm really into holiday themed movies, too. Corny hallmark rom-coms? Sign the the way up.
What else? I'm thinking of maybe decorating the hallway with ceiling lights and ornaments. Maybe it's trending right now, but I think it looks quite magical. I have done zero prepping for Thanksgiving since I've been sick. I always tell myself one of these years I'll just cater but haven't yet. But then I'll blink and it'll feel like thanksgiving 2025 is just around the bend and I'll wonder how the future arrived so quicky.
I've never played sports, despite growing up with siblings who all played sports. But sometimes when the stars align, I can make a basket from the free throw line. Dont even bother with the 3pt line. That's much too far. Years ago, I really got into working out and lifting weights and eating 1200 calories. Worked at it hard, too. But I've fallen off the train a bit since covid, and need to get back on it.
Lately, I've not felt much like myself! You know? And I'm sure there are many reasons for that. But that's another story for another time. Maybe we'll continue this conversation later! Are you over 30? No, but for real, checking if you read this far. Ciao for now!
