I honestly don't know what I want anymore, but I'm lonely and I'm tired of the redundant, everyday small talk.

A little about me...

I have a unique name, so you can call me illy.
I am 5'3 with dark hair and blue/grey eyes.
I'm an introvert, but a great listener and give good advice
I'm a mom.
I work full-time in the financial industry.
I love to travel and have been doing more of it since COVID. Especially road trips.
I'm an avid reader, I listen to podcasts, I enjoy anything true crime and documentaries. I also enjoy movies and a few tv shows.
I volunteer for my local American Suicide Prevention chapter.
I am currently writing my first book which I'm hoping to turn into a duology. I sadly have to admit, I haven't been able to even look at my book in over a year :(
I am not an artist, but I started dabbling into some digital drawing and love it.

I live in the rural part of the Midwest so making friends with anyone who shares any of the same interests has been difficult. I am not a typical "soccer mom" and don't fit in with any of the other parents or adults who are. I love my kids, but I am just not one of those people who make my entire personality about them.
