Look, the last thing anyone wants to do on a monday morning is chores. I work weekends so a monday morning honestly my best shot to getting anything done. I'm motivated, soon-to-be caffinated and ready to kick ass (even if i guess im kicking my own ass in this context? This metaphor sucks. whatever.)

Point is, if im gonna spend a lot of my time doing laundry and waiting in line at the store, staring at my phone anyway, i rather spend it engaging with someone than melting my brain scrolling memes and avoiding ragebait. I could use a cheerleader or just someone to bounce absurd ideas off of. Either will do.

So here's a bit about me.

I like stories. I like telling stories and i like listening to them. I like relating to the human experience outside of my plane of existance. I'm never going to know everything ever but i like the peek behind the curtains into other people's daily lives and exposing parts of my own. Ever had that one moment where you figured out who you were and the world made a little more sense? Cool. I wanna hear about it and we'll compare notes.

I like music. Not just hearing, but really listening to it. Genre's don't really describe what i like anymore. Any combination of groovy, melodic, proggy, djenty, mathy, lyrical, funky, or atmospheric. Current plans for the fall include concerts for Emo, Alt Hip Hop, Electronica and whatever the hell Delta Sleep falls under. I can talk music forever. Have you listened to anything cool lately? I like making memories. I met up with some really long time online friends over the summer and we had an excellent beach vacation together. It's getting colder where I am so im looking forward to cooking with friends over the hoildays and late night stupid arguments over nothing. Any cool plans coming up? Holidays? I'm sure this Thanksgiving won't be controversial at all...

Video games are fun. I like video games. I don't have as much to play as i used to but i keep up with releases and catch things on sale every so often. So with that being said...

I'm a redditor so it says a thing or two about my hobbies (I guess that outs me being in the SE/IT industry in a backwards way.) But i do enjoy making things. My current obcession is home automation in a way that doesn't use the cloud. I know. who cares, right? But i built it and i take pride in my work. And approaching my mid 30's, my biological clock is telling to invest in powertools and spend more time at Lowe's. What's your weird hobby?

We can talk about any of the above... or none of it. I can be a bullshit artist if i need to. We can have a debate over something that doesn't matter. Anything except the "X is a sandwhich" topic, i've that one a few too many times. Anything else is fair game though.
