It's election day in the US, and I am as hopeful as I am about making new friends through this site, even if it's just chatting buddies. I hope you aren't a massive bundle of stress because I am ABSOLUTELY STRESSED OUT! Thus, the NSFW tag, as I'm sure the conversations today will not be wholesome.

I'll add a M4R label here to find new tabletop gaming friends, running friends, and/or movie friends. I have a great social circle, but one cannot just hang out consistently with the same group of friends.

I also know quite a few people on here are looking for a relationship. This is where the post turns into a [M4F]. I am a slow-burn type of person, and becoming friends first is necessary. While the goal can be a relationship, I want to get to know who you are first before making a romantic step. The last thing I want is for both of us to feel like we need to be together a year down the line while wasting each other's time.

This is me: I won’t mention my work until we get to know each other. I am an active, nature-loving individual. My hobbies include long walks/going on trails, hiking and camping, and running. I am also a homebody and enjoy a good trash TV show, dramedies, comedies, and horror movies. One of my favorite TV shows is Ted Lasso (basic, I know, but it's so good to me!). Another is tabletop games/DnD and PC gaming. My music taste is punk-rock/rock/metal. Once I finish my current project, I would love to continue my more expensive hobbies: snowboarding and skydiving. Truth be told, I haven’t skydived enough to jump solo, but that is on my bucket list.

I’ve been told I am extremely patient, diligent, and sweet, albeit awkward and sometimes overly conscious. I've been told I am very similar to an Irish Wolfhound: very large and shaggy lapdog while being super loyal and excited. I am single, I do not take drugs outside of social drinking, and I don’t smoke. It’s a hard no for others who smoke cigarettes. I don't do weed, but I'm okay with others who take/smoke it.

For the guys and girls who are also looking for new friends: Don't be an incel, unhygienic, only focused on one hobby to an extreme and racist. I am a Latino, so the last thing I want to deal with is being around a group of friends making fun of my heritage or my accent. I am okay with you not being active, as I'm looking for gaming buddies, but I prefer to be outside.

For women looking to be in a relationship: The same applies above, but I would also like you to have some outdoor hobbies. You don't have to be active, but I would like to go to ski resorts with my future partner. Also, please be near or within the Twin Cities, specifically in Minneapolis. I am only looking for those nearby, as LDR is simply not my thing. Also, please understand that this is a slow friend to relationship type of interaction. It's not a situationship; just let's be friends and see if we can enjoy each other's company over the next few months and make sure it's nothing sexual or be blind by the honeymoon period. My type tends to gravitate towards bubbly but chill individuals. Positive people are always great to be around, but alt-like seriousness and humor is always a plus. Also, please be within /- 5 years of my age.
