About me: I’m 48 which I know sounds really old, but I don’t feel old, and I don’t think I act old. I’m short, 5’0”, so just about everyone is a giant to me. I think I’m an ambivert. I’m a huge nerd. I love Harry Potter, LOTR, Hamilton the Musical, British programming, British accents, and reading. I have a 19 year old son that I adore. I live in Louisiana but I don’t think I fit the typical Southern stereotype. I don’t have an accent and I’m not conservative or Christian. I love cold weather…and that doesn’t happen often here. I believe in kindness and that there’s not enough of it in this world. I try to be a positive person for the most part. I find negativity exhausting but I understand that we all have bad days. When I’m in a relationship, that person is my priority. If I don’t feel like I’m important to my partner, I get discouraged. I want someone who will actually make time for me. Not just at the beginning of things, but years down the line as well. It’s humiliating when you find yourself begging the person you love to find just a few minutes a day to spend with you. I think I love too big, but I’m hoping someone out there will love that about me. I am recently out of an almost three year relationship. I’m still processing and healing from this, so anything that starts here would need to be with the understanding that we start as friends.

What I’m looking for: someone between the ages of 35 and 45 (I don’t typically date people older than me because we don’t usually have much in common), someone attractive (because let’s be honest, physical attraction is important), someone fit (I don’t need a low body fat percentage but I know I’m not attracted to seriously overweight people), someone who will respect boundaries, someone kind, and someone with a good sense of humor. I’d like this person to match my energy and effort.
