I'm 38 years old, and I live in Iowa. I'm here to find someone I can enter a committed partnership with, ideally for the long haul. I'm here to give this one last chance, so if nothing comes of this for me, I can say I tried.
I'm into reading, pretty much anything that sparks interest for me. On the weekends, I like to go on walks, check out local shops (even if I don't buy anything, which is usually the case), go to the farmer's market when it's on. During the summer, I like to go to baseball games when I get the chance, and now that it's football season, I'll listen to the games on the radio. As far as teams, I'm more of a casual fan of the Hawkeyes, if anything.
I like to cook, and I'll spend my Sundays meal-prepping for the week. I like arts and crafts, and I like to find ways to reuse things.
I'd love to go to a movie sometime, but I haven't ever had the chance to, at least so far. I'll see whatever seems interesting if or when it comes to the streaming services. It would be nice to have someone to join me at the movies, the watch parties, or even to other local events when they're going on. But hey, that's just me. I'm happy to do like I've always done, and go by myself.
I'm limiting my focus to someone my own age, within 4 years either way, actually single, and local to the Des Moines area, not just visiting. Kids are part of my future plans, with or without a relationship.
