Thanks for clicking and giving this post a whirl! Before I introduce myself, can I just say, wow - what a week in the cosmos, huh? First the northern lights and then the closest supermoon AND a once in a lifetime comet circling around? It’s almost as if the events were meant to inspire and uplift, yet as a lover of outer space, miraculously I managed to miss them all despite my best efforts. I don’t know how. But I do know I spent way too long outside staring at the night sky in a city with light pollution. Hopefully if you’re reading this you got to see one of the three, at least.

Alas, dating these days is exceedingly tough. Harder still when you really just want to meet the one but you haven’t crossed paths yet (or maybe you have but they’re with someone else). So I came to Reddit (naturally) because you never know where the magical spark will occur.

I am a 35 year old single female. I truly believe I am an awesome partner and a catch: funny, intelligent, pretty, spontaneous, kind, empathetic, brave, confident, wise. I have a stable career and am fairly ambitious, but I value balance. Family and friends are very important to me. I am the fun Aunt to 9 nieces and nephews that I absolutely adore. My identity is also very important to me. I’m Jewish and am 100% in support of Israel, so if that isn’t for you, thanks for reading, feel free to keep scrolling by.

While I’m often extroverted, I think I’m squarely an ambivert. I can chat with people until 2 am and hang out laughing with friends like nobody’s business, and I can also enjoy several nights in watching TV and knitting or playing games. I’m pretty political and fall in the moderate Dem camp. Came from a family of foreign service on one side so I have a real sense of duty and consider myself a patriot (but don’t worry, I won’t spontaneously start singing Gilbert & Sullivan songs - though I am a singer and you might hear me occasionally burst into song 🎵) I also generally enjoy anything culture wise: museums, symphonies, ballet at the Kennedy center, etc. My ideal partner wants to enjoy all that life has to offer together.

Honestly, I’m here because I miss having a partner. This may be too much to ask of Reddit, but I’m looking for my soulmate. A true love. A genuine man I can build a life with. A man who shares similar qualities and values, and will nerd out with me about anything under the sun: politics, science fiction, history, outer space, laugh with me at internet memes, explore the world and travel together while still building a cozy safe and comfortable home. Someone who would love to curl up on the couch watching stand up comedy or a marathon of our favorite TV show. But who also loves to be social with friends or events and try new things. A man who can cook is a plus!

Physically speaking people tell me I’m beautiful. I’m fairly petite at 5’2”, with blonde hair, blue eyes, symmetrical features. I do have one tattoo.
