Hello! I'm a 31F living in Colorado, as the title states. I'm looking for a long term relationship, but one that develops slowly so we can really get to know each other. I'm not in a rush to settle down, as I'd rather find a connection where we're each a good fit for each other.

Now, I'd like to think I have a lot to offer in a relationship. I am funny (albeit with a very dark sense of humor), relatively intelligent, have a master's degree, and people regularly call me kind and very caring - especially for those I consider loved ones and friends. I absolutely adore cats, and I have two little boy cats that are 7 years old. I am an atheist but not annoyingly so. I am left leaning but not progressive.

I've been told I'm relatively attractive, although people don't often approach me on the street or anything. I'm happy to provide pictures if you want to provide some as well. I am 5'7, 160 lbs and tatted and pierced.

I love writing / recording music, attending concerts, snowboarding, paddle boarding, painting portraits, and practicing my various instruments. My favorite bands this year include Rishloo, TOOL, A Perfect Circle, Leprous, Alice In Chains, and Sleep Token. The music I create is pretty acoustic / indie, but can occasionally be dark and rock-ish.

I go out of my way to spend time with those I care for, and if we end up dating I WILL buy you flowers, cook / bake you food (I love baking from scratch), and give you as many cuddles and kisses as you want. (And probably grab your butt, lol). I think men deserve to be spoiled and told they're handsome and wonderful just as much as women do.

Now, I want to include some things to consider that aren't so awesome about me. I feel like it's fair and realistic to do so.

I have struggled with depression most of my life, and this year I was diagnosed with bipolar 2 disorder - in simple terms, a slightly milder version of bipolar 1. I manage pretty well most of the time, although this year has been a bit rough. I'm actively working on myself and my health.

I've had a lot of serious, traumatic health problems. These will likely continue for the rest of my life. It is well managed for the most part.

I cannot have children, and I have no interest in ever raising them.

Finally, I'd like to include a trigger warning for this - I've been through some intense physical interpersonal trauma so if you don't wish to know then I would not continue reading. I share it here because it's important.

I have been the victim of rape, and it's relevant because the lovely man who did this gave me HSV2 for life. I am medicated and I take my medication religiously. I don't have outbreaks, or symptoms. There is very little risk of transmission with this medication, but I thoroughly believe in honesty and getting informed consent. I'm happy to answer any respectful questions around this.
