It is a jungle out there for the single ladies and gents. Social media, the apps and modern dating culture have given us the illusion of endless choice and the insidious feeling that “the grass is always greener…”. I am not trying to absolve myself of responsibility, I am also part of the problem, but I have been actively working on doing (and being) better.

After healing my heart following the my break-up (LTR of several years), I did a lot of soul-searching and inner work to understand what was my share of responsibility for the relationship’s failure. Accountability does wonders for self-reflection and improvement indeed.

My life has changed in many ways and continues to change a little everyday. Amongst the many changes, one was deeply intimate. I discovered Judaism as a spiritual and moral path. My curiosity led me to devour several books which led me to want to learn more and eventually get in touch with rabbis and communities in my area. I’m still in the learning phase, although I believe that the “learning phase” never really ends.

At this point I know I should be focusing on studying, but hey, I am human and the conversion process can be awfully lonely and sometimes I wish I had someone special to open up with and maybe share the ups and downs. I’ve been warned that sometimes it is hard for converts to get married and that’s something that I’ve taking into consideration.

Wow, if you’ve made it until here, congratulations! I know I can be a little wordy, but I think the situation needed a bit of context clarification. So, finally, I’ll talk a little about myself and what I’m looking for.

About me:

Personality - Cool, calm and collected; Deeply passionate about learning; Creative; Sometimes a little messy (self-discipline is a my everyday challenge); Ambivert; I try to always be fair and level-headed; Hardworking; Friendly; Fun at parties; Grandmas usually love me.

About us

The relationship I’m looking for is based on love, trust and communication. I want someone to grow and grow old with. I want someone I can take care of and who will also take care of me. I am overall modern but I lean a little more traditional and I wouldn’t mind temporarily being a SAHM when my kids are younger. Speaking of which, I’d like to have 2-3 children, B’’H. I’m located in Eastern Canada but I am open to relocating for the right person preferably within North America, but if you’re elsewhere and felt compelled to write me, please do.
