I am a 33 year old white male. I'm 5'7", size 34 pants, medium shirts. I've been working on losing weight to get back down to 32s. I have 3 tattoos and stretched ears(1/2").
I have a house, a bit of land, a job and a car. I also come with a child (9 year old boy, about to be 10) and while he doesn't need a new mom, he will try to be your best friend. I also come with a library of over a thousand books. I'm a locksmith at a local university.
My social media life used to be extremely active, though over the years, I've grown more and more weary of it to the point that I've cut almost all of it off. I'm of the mindset that once I find the right person, I'll rid myself of social media in its entirety.
Art is a passion interest. I write poetry and short stories, I draw, paint, crochet and play around with making music. I don't go out much but for music shows, usually local and art or philosophy related things. I'm spiritual but it's not exactly something I take very seriously.
I've been single for about 3 years, now. That's entirely a mixture of by choice and the result of being a single father.
Lately, I've been collecting acorns to leach and make into food. This past spring, I collected petals from my multiple rose bushes and made rose oil. I love finding mushrooms, whether edible or not.
What I'd like is to find someone enjoy to talk with, create things with and who'd be willing to help with a homestead. If I'm honest, it'll be a little difficult for me to accept the help at first, as I've been used to doing things on my own for... well, most of my life. However, I've come to accept that I could use the help and it would be wonderful to have a like minded individual by my side.
