Tonight, I am sitting out in the yard with my camera, hoping to see the Aurora. Wildfire smoke may hinder my chances, but it is far too beautiful an evening to apend it inside. These calm and crisp fall evenings are rare here, and the wind will come soon to blow all the peace and leaves away.
These days, I find myself doing almost everything alone, and I'll admit that it is starting to wear on me. It has been a little while since I had to reset basically my entire life, and now I am in a place where I am ready to start adding people back into the mix.
Mostly, I am looking for friends. I want to have someone I can call to talk about our days and just shoot the breeze. A real connection is a must. I am fine if things eventually move beyond friendship, but it has to start there.
About me: I'm 5'11", brown hair, hazel eyes. I spend a lot of time out in the mountains and that keeps me in pretty good shape. I have a deep interest in the natural world, and that is where I find the most peace. . I love to read, play music (I play multiple instruments), and am an excellent cook.
