Hello fellow internet people! I'm a guy with a complete, active, and satisfying life that I would like to share with someone special! Unfortunately, I am finding it difficult to meet people IRL even despite having a pretty robust social life, so here I am on Reddit!

I'm a farm-boy-turned-patent-lawyer with a durable sense of calm, irrepressible good cheer and optimism, enthusiasm for all sorts of active adventures, and a pretty much infinite appetite for deep conversation and emotional labor. I'm generally competent at most things I attempt, take my responsibilities to others seriously (although responsibilities in my own life sometimes fall victim to procrastination), and highly prioritize my relationships with friends and significant others.

An ideal relationship would feature physical/outdoorsy activities, a healthy amount of whimsey, games of all types in both co-operative and playfully competitive contexts, good food that we cook together or seek out, bilateral spontaneous butt-touching, cringe-inducing portmanteaus, emotional intimacy, lots of physical touch, and open communication.

Bonus points if you like board games more complex than Catan, animals, space, history, goofy doodles/cakes, karaoke, watersports, doing accents, being a bit of a pervert, or weird or unusual hobbies!

Likely not compatible with people who are especially religious, conservative, spiritual, sedentary, anxious, or introverted. I prefer a relationship based on fairness and equality, and care little for power dynamics in any context.
