A new beginning in dating (trying it again) It's true that there's no harm in trying, but I've been hurting myself in the process—what a cruel comedy of life, huh?In the future, I want to make sure that I'm acting with good intentions, an open heart, and the correct motivations.
Never spent a lot of time in an LTR. Here's a brief summary of my motivations for dating: I genuinely want to know what it's like to be loved by someone who is also in love with me; I also want to be recognised and seen; and I want to get to know someone on a deeper level—a level I've never been but am willing to explore—let's take off on the magic carpet together.
I want to spread that profound knowledge and connection, as well as the comfort that accompanies it. I want to have fun activities with someone who is available and has time. I want a partner who is also a friend, but I also want a level of sexual intimacy that is not possible in friendships. Someone who is my go-to person and I am their go-to person is what I desire. In essence, I want to know what it's like to occasionally be someone else's top priority. I'd like to live with someone at some point since it sounds nice, and logistically speaking, having two incomes seems to be the only way to ever own a house.
