I'm a 44 year old divorced dad of two kids 10 and under with 50/50 custody.  I've been divorced for just under 4 years and have healed and starting to put myself out there more.  A while ago I made a connection on Reddit which I've been chasing, and have not found it with online dating (but have learned a lot about what I like / don’t like…).  The matches are there, but at this age, we all have our "stuff" that we've had to deal with, and you've either dealt with it and have healed and experienced "growth," or you're still dealing with the trauma or fallout of your relationship. 

Someone that’s committed to this growth is very attractive to me. I’m looking to do life with that person who will put actions behind their words, someone that has healed, learned, etc. 

As for me, 6'1 / 250 / Linebacker build / Brown, with a “linebacker | lumberjack” build (I lift weights, but also like my dessert ;)  

Outside of working out, I'm into sports (Baseball, Basketball (NBA | WNBA), Football (and a defending Fantasy Football Champion….) the Head Coach of each kid’s baseball & softball team, and starting in November, basketball. While I have a month without coaching, I’m planning on working out, so if you’re on a health “journey,” I’ll support you in what you need.  When I am relaxing, I’m watching Survivor and Tulsa King,, started The Bear six months ago (and about to get back to Season II), and then will move onto Shogun.  The list of shows to watch is long…

I listen to the same 25 songs from the late 90’s / 2000’s, but don’t think I’m the only one 🤷🏾 I just finished a bathroom remodel, so I also have some DIY skills, but it’s a lot of YouTube :) 

I'm stable in that I have a great IT career, my kids, a nice house, but what's missing is someone to share that with - and being touch starved  ;)  Not that I need someone, but I'm at a point where I'm ready and not dealing with the past and am actually excited about the future and the potential of meeting someone.  

I'm located in the Midwest (CST), but am open to anyone that's "done the work," or has healed from their past and excited about the potential to meet someone.  What are you excited about?  What's attractive to me is when someone is really passionate about something or looking to make the world a better place.  I'm really open to location as a great connection is someone I would travel to see and travel for work about once a month (LA, FL, Phoenix, Vegas ...)
