The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I keep doing these posts, hoping to find a meaningful and lasting connection, and while I’ve come close a few times things eventually fizzle out and communication stops.

Please do not message me if you have no intentions of keeping things going if we vibe, and definitely don’t message me if you can’t respond to messages promptly and/or you disappear for days at a time. I have an anxiety disorder and I’ve been ghosted one too many times and this is not good for my mental health.

Anyway, here’s a bit about me in an easy to digest list form!

• 37 years old (my bday is coming up on 9/25)
• Single mom of two kiddos (11/f and almost 8/m)
• Don’t want to birth anymore children, open to being a step mom or adopting in the future
• I was diagnosed as autistic at 34
• ADHD diagnosis at 27
• Both of my kids are neurodivergent as well
• I work in the human services field with homeless veterans
• I am a USAF veteran myself
• I’ve been into photography for over a decade and even had a small business at one point
• I voraciously read poetry and write some of my own
• I play World of Warcraft and have since 2007
• I have one asshole cat
• I have a BA in Psychology from Penn State
• I lived in Kansas for 13 years
• Big into sci-fi and fantasy
• Random fact: my eyeballs are literally too small to wear the specialized contact lenses that I need for astigmatism in both of my eyes, so I’ll be forever team glasses
• I enjoy shopping (give me the dopamine lol)
• I love doing my makeup and hair and putting together cute outfits
• I am not very outdoorsy due to sensory issues relating to the sun and sweating
• I’d rather walk around a museum and learn some stuff than go for a hike
• I have a MMJ card
• Don’t smoke cigarettes
• Leftist/progressive
• No Trumpers or MAGAs
• Pop punk and metalcore are my favorite music genres though I like a wide variety of music
• I am sensitive, kind, intelligent, passionate, and supportive
• I have a good sense of humor
• I am MONOGAMOUS

Some things I look for in a partner (not an all inclusive list): - Confidence without arrogance - Intelligence - Sense of humor - Financially stable - Has their own place with no room mates (I don’t care if you rent or own) - Reliable transportation - No serious mental health issues (I’ve dated my fair share of men with personality disorders and I don’t know if I have it in me to continue that trend) - Replies to text messages promptly - Is emotionally mature and available - Knows and understands how to communicate wants and needs effectively - Nerdy - Preferably plays or is willing to play WoW with me
