I think for many of us, life hasn't worked out the way we hoped - Especially when considering how we relate to other people and form new relationships. It gets harder to form strong bonds as we get older, and it's all too easy to end up feeling unseen and unheard. We tend to expect certain things of each other going in, and the labels we use seem all too often to reinforce those expectations, leading to nearly inevitable disappointment and upset when the people we project those expectations onto fail to live up to them.

I want to do things differently. Instead of defining a relationship right at the start, I want to focus on knowing a person as deeply and intimately as I can. I want to foster trust, demonstrate honesty and openness, and approach each interaction I have with as much love, truth and genuine acceptance as I can. I crave closeness, compassion and mutual support, given and recieved freely. I want our relationship to be based on expressing our feelings regularly and communicating our wants and needs without judgement, with the flexibility to adapt based on our developing circumstance. I'm happy to recieve messages from anyone, anywhere, but please keep in mind that I'm not particularly interested in a relationship that exists only online. I'm happy to arrange to travel, or be travelled to, eventually, so living closer to me is preferred but not required. Autumn child fond of crisp, quiet mornings, short days and long nights, cosiness and comfort. As well as halloween/samhain, all things spooky and macabre, but something of a love/hate relationship with horror media. Definitely open to suggestions and sharing of favourite music, tv, films, games etc.

Spiritual but not religious. Chaotically witchy with some odd practices and beliefs which I'm happy to share but do not expect anyone to agree with.
