Hello, hope you’re doing well today!
I'm a 33-year-old living in Canada, and I'm writing because I’m looking for people to chat with about everyday life but also dive deep into certain topics.
I'm at a point in my life where I can genuinely say that I’m in a happy, stable place. A big part of that comes from getting into mindfulness over the past year. One thing I feel I'm missing, though, is somebody to talk to about it. Not just mindfulness, of course. I’m really interested in discussing just about anything—I want to hear other people's perspectives. My goal is to become a more flexible, accepting person.
While I love my friends, we don’t tend to talk about this kind of stuff. It's not that they lack interest or capacity; it's just that after being friends for so long, I feel like we’ve had these conversations a million times. That’s bound to happen in friendships that have lasted 15 years, I guess.
Anyway, a little about me besides that: I practice Muay Thai, enjoy games (video games, board games, and soccer matches), whittling, karaoke, paradoxes, and reading (though I mostly listen to audiobooks these days).
