Hello everyone. Thanks for swinging by my post. I went and injured myself playing soccer last weekend. I'd like to say it was doing something cool or badass like a crunching tackle, but the reality is I'm a clumsy bloke and shredded the ligaments in my ankle all by myself. Didn't even have the ball. I'm special.
I was hoping that now that my evenings are free, I might be able to make friends to chat with and learn from. I'd love people from all over the world and different walks of life to have deep and meaningfuls with or just share banter with. My social circle has slowly been shrinking and I'm quite a sociable person so I thought I'd try this again.
A little about me - I (used to) play a lot of soccer and go to the gym often. I love stories in all their formats. My perfect evening when not playing football is sat on the couch with a ridiculously large cup of tea and a book. I'm a nerd for all things fantasy and Terry Pratchett is my literary hero. I dabble in writing in my spare time. I also take a lot of aimless, long, meandering walks around the neighborhood and cuddle with outdoor/stray cats (sometimes at great personal expense). I also love camping and hiking when the weather is good.
