I'm an introverted homebody that can put on an extroverted mask, but it's mostly with people I've known for a while and have comfort with. I'm working too many hours and enjoying too few. As for adulting, I have a job, house, mode of transportation.... Two cats share ownership of me. They make sure that I don't spend all my time hunkered down in front of a computer screen and get exercise by running them around the house.

Physically, I’m tall, but don’t hit six feet. I have an average build. I exercise enough to keep fit. I keep my hair shaved in acceptance of coming baldness and maintain a beard.

Some of my hobbies include reading through my ears (I'll sit down with a book, but I'm a fan of audiobooks so I can multitask), absorbing podcasts (and occasionally recording some with friends), occasional binge streaming, gaming (video and board games with friends), and getting outside (I like doing yard work in the warmer months, walking trails, or hitting a local festival -- usually for good food and craft beers). While I'm a homebody, I would like to travel a bit more, but it's not something I've felt too much drive to do alone.

At this point in my life, I'm fairly set in my ways and patterns, but I feel a distinct absence not being partnered with someone. I'd like to have that awkward growing fond, sharing little funny moments, and getting to enjoy geeky hobbies and time outdoors together.

I'd like to find someone of a similar mind and interests to me for a DINK lifestyle. (I've had a vasectomy to help keep the childfree life for myself.) Ideally, we're near enough that this wouldn't be long distance. That being said, if we click, distance just becomes a challenge. I'm happy to share a picture once we've chatted a bit.
