Hi Everyone,

I'm a 43 year old dude who lives in New Zealand. My life is pretty sweet. I have a good job, great friends and life is comfortable. I'm single and not looking to change that (I honestly love coming home to an empty house and being alone with my thoughts), so this isn't a post looking for romance.

I'm a social introvert. I love my time alone but I can function adequately well in a group situation. I also still like to have contact, just not so much in the physical space.

This is what I look like so you know who you are talking too. I also have a very expressive face - sometimes a selfie adds context that text cannot.

I am looking for some friends to chat with on here, and then eventually move to a different app that can be contained on your phone. I have most of them. Most of the time I'm looking for company is during the day to break up the monotony of work. its always nice to get a message and have a chance to meet and understand what makes new friends tick.

• Most movies except horror (I'm a big softie)

• Gaming (PC, PS4, Switch). Mostly Coop and single player or MMO. Im so bad at shooting games. so bear that in mind if you're looking for a squad buddy.

• coding. I've self taught VBA for work stuff and would like to learn LUA next

• cats! Send me all the pics (actually, make that all animals)
