I'd like to have no reason to get on here and make these posts these days, but I suppose I'm somewhat determined to find that one person that is probably out there.

I'm Bryan, recently turned 39, which means that I'm almost at the age that I can start saying "oldest ride, longest line". Ignoring the fact that the line isn't actually long. I've had an extremely rough last month to say the least, and I've felt a bit isolated and lonely lately. I guess lonely is usually a given when you're making a post here.

I enjoy horror in all formats. I don't keep up with modern horror movies like I used to, but I do love the classics. I play a lot of horror games, and I would love to find someone who plays anything Phasmophobia-like. I've got Forewarned, Devour, Demonologist, Lethal Company, and am willing to get others that I've chosen not to simply because of no one to play them with these days. I also enjoy building survival type games, like Enshrouded, Palworld, Conan Exiles, The Forest, Valheim, and stuff like that. I'll also be jumping back into WoW for the upcoming expansion since I'll usually play a few months at least with a couple friends. If you're down to play any of the above, or similar, that would be fantastic.

I've been a big metal person for a long time, but I've also recently got really into darkwave. I guess it's the natural progression from synthwave since I'm just such a brooding dark and mysterious person. I primarily listen to black, death, blacked death, death black, blackest death, and death-defying black. Also doom and some deathcore bands. And a LOT of other stuff. I even like old Disney music. Very broad horizon over here. I'll also gladly share Spotify playlists and am willing to accept any of yours.

I have a very dry, sarcastic, dark, weird, wild and unhinged sense of humor. It really depends on my mood, but it's all there really. I tend to do very well conversing with someone that can either start a bit, or go with it, and just never know when the bit actually ends.

Usually, I don't tend to add a lot of specifics in the kind of person I'm looking for, but after a lot of failed attempts over the years, I suppose a few things to narrow it down more would probably be helpful. I think having a sense of humor in common is very important. I want to be able to see any kind of unhinged meme and know I can send it, and you find it funny. Having the same music tastes would be awesome, but seeing as how I can appreciate most music, it's not a deal breaker. I just may not be able to share the same enthusiasm for every genre, and I like to be able to do that.

I primarily use Discord to talk on. Both messaging and voice. As a base, I'm looking for a friend. Should things go well and anything about those changes, I'm not opposed to more. I feel like jumping in and expecting relationship immediately isn't a great way to go about things. If that's something you think you'd like to have open, then please, oh please, don't be married and reveal it much later. That has totally never happened to me before.
