I know, I know. But I just had to give it a try!

Anyway, dating app fails aside, I'm here to see if I can make any friends that I can actually talk to beyond the initial "how are you doing?" and "how are you surviving this damn heat wave?" phase. I'm from Southeast Asia but currently in Spain for the summer and will maybe move here permanently by the end of the year. I'm learning Spanish but not very confident in speaking yet, so if you know the language (or also learning it), maybe you can give me pointers!

Anyway, no expectations here. All I ask is you be a kind and decent person with at least some opinions about the state of the world. Talk soon?

P.S. If it's not clear that I'm only looking for platonic friends, I'm still healing from a bad beak-up so I'm not looking for anything romantic.
