I live in Scotland and being in my thirties now, I’ve found my friends are too busy with work, family and life to have big long talks over messages anymore. I kind of miss it.
I am not necessarily looking for a romantic connection but I am not ruling this out. I just want to have someone to talk to.
I really love deep conversations to set the world to rights. So I’d be looking for someone with a broadly similar left/centre left/liberal outlook to discuss current affairs with. I hate small talk. I’d rather gauge my own eyeballs with a fork than ask someone “how are you” or “how is your day going” and vice versa.
Music, reading and travelling are my passions in life along with rich cultural experiences like going to the theatre or an exhibition.
I’m looking for someone similar. I’d also be open to chatting to people quite a bit older than me.
And I’m generally open to travelling within Europe, if it gets to that stage.
