I’ve been on this site for almost a few years now, on and off hoping to find my person, someone I can build my life with, get married to, and settle down. I’ve met some decent people and even dated for a bit, but otherwise it’s been an up and down path towards true love (that’s part of  life right?)

 This is a genuine post. I’m not doing this for karma, nor am I a bot.

 A little about me: I’m 40, sort of newly single, never married, no kids yet. I’ll be upfront that I’m plus size. Also Latina (though more mixed mutt)

 I enjoy reading a shit ton of books, cooking, watching sports (football and hockey though taking a beak from football because I don’t want to see the chiefs win another title) love to swim also.

 My job keeps me moving and I like to keep active (when I’m not lazy or tired from work) so I’m looking for the same in my partner, whether he likes to lift weights or what not. I’ve never been camping so I’d like to try that sometime or playfully spar together (I’m a tomboy at heart so I like those things). If you enjoy lifting heavy things or getting your hands dirty, I hope you don’t mind if I watch.

 I like to believe I’m funny, supportive, honest, loyal. I can be stubborn and feisty. I’m not for everyone, but I am for the right man. I’m not a meek woman.

So what I’m looking for is someone who has a good head on their shoulders, hardworking, honest, kind, laid back, handsome, funny, and very family oriented (my family means a lot to me).

I do have a strong preference for the tall, strong burly type (I’m about 5’8 so the taller the better) If I can sit on your lap or be lifted with not much problem, I’ll be in love,

 It sounds really weird but I sometimes sense or dream that my person is out there, so I’m also taking the chance to see if maybe he’s out there waiting for me.  The general idea I have of him is that he’s tall, with brown hair and eyes, most likely well built, in law enforcement. His name may be Ryan. About my age? Maybe a little younger?

 Has anyone dreamt of their one and only before meeting them?

 That aside, I prefer someone 100% single, Caucasian, local if possible.
