I'm giving this a try to see if I can hopefully stumble upon some cool people to talk to and hopefully build a meaningful connection over time if we click. I'm looking for long-term connections, not just a chat to pass time for a couple of days. A little about me:
I consider myself a laid-back person. I love to draw, although I'm not great at it. I enjoy collecting books & crafting supplies more than I use/read them. (I see you; I know you do the same thing too) I journal whenever I can and spend time in nature, taking long walks, staring at the sky, and listening to the cute birds flying around. I also occasionally dabble in poetry.

I have a love for languages, so if that's your thing, please hit me up! I would love to exchange ideas for studying and keep each other updated along the way on how it's going! Maybe teach each other some phrases or words. That would be fun. I like to listen to many music genres and would love to exchange music with you. Send music recommendations! : )

I enjoy cooking shows a lot, so let's gossip about them together. If you like Nailed It & Masterchef, hit me up! I watch some other tv shows as well; my taste is very varied. Also, silly IG reels can be a happy place, and I like to share them, i promise it will be occasional :)

2. Looking for a humor-filled conversation. Please, let's make each other laugh. Life is already too rough. I enjoy serious and deep conversations as well; I just really enjoy respectful banter, sarcasm, silly jokes, and a good time while getting to know each other. I will laugh, I'll crack jokes, and I hope you'll laugh with me ans make me laugh as well. Not everyone gets my humor, but that's okay. Just a heads up, I'm not into making fun of others appearance or using insults disguised as jokes. But if you're a naturally funny person who loves to laugh and have a good time, then you're more than welcome to send me a chat.
3. Putting in effort to chat and get to know each other. I don't want to be the only one leading the conversation. Ask me about my day, how I'm doing, and I'll do the same for you. I am open to discussing topics randomly as well. We don't have to build up to them. I do like to ask questions randomly. If you want to talk about whether fishes get thirsty, or why bread slices are square and not round, please feel free to do so! It's nice to make an effort to connect with others. It really helps to strengthen connections when you genuinely show interest about the other person.
4. Are respectful. Respectful communication is appreciated. NO flirting, please. Keep it PG. I am NOT interested in anything of a sexual nature. Please do not disguise flirtation and advances as jokes. Any funny business will result in being blocked. I want to have a clean chat, have fun, get to know each other, and possibly form a strong connection in the future. True connections are rare these days, and I value that.
5. Able to chat or reply daily or frequently. I can chat on and off throughout the day but it's easier for me to chat during the night (EST time). Bonus points if you are a night owl and are able to chat close to EST timezone.
