Hello!
Trying this out as I have talked to quite a few interesting people in the past here on reddit and the dating apps/dating pool in my area has been just a tad lackluster if I'm being honest.
About Me:
Starting off with the basics, I'm 33 (turning 34 in a couple weeks!), female, 5'6", demi, have long brown hair (no dye), hazel eyes, glasses wearer, tattooed, and would consider myself full figured and moderately active (and content/happy with my body).
I've been separated since July of last year and will be divorced by September of this year. I have not been on any dates since splitting with my ex (amicable split) and I've finally come to a point where I am open again to dating and seeing if I can find a connection with someone again. I do not have any kids or step-kids. I live on my own with my 2 dogs in a rural town in the Canadian Prairies and work full time.
I am auDHD (autistic/ADHD) and find it hard to fit into societal norms. I'm more of a crafty/gardening/music obsessed auDHDer and not the math/science AuDHDer, haha. I really like music (all kinds really) and would like to find somebody that is just as entranced with music as I am. My playlist is a jumble of all decades, genres, styles, artists, etc, but I do tend to lean towards rock/metal music. Currently some of the artists/bands on my repeat list are The Beaches, Dayseeker, Magnolia Park, Bring Me the Horizon, Bad Omens, etc.
I also have gotten into listening to podcasts and am always up for new suggestions, but my favorite kind of podcasts have been horror anthology style podcasts (NOT true crime ,think more along the lines of The NoSleep Podcast, Chilling Tales for Dark Nights, and Knifepoint Horror, and The Redwood Bureau).
I love being out in nature, and was blessed enough to find a place to move to last year that is rural and provides me the opportunity for peace and quiet, a place I can walk my dogs without heavy traffic, and the yard space to get back into gardening on a smaller scale.
My main hobby is knitting and crocheting, which I've been interested in since I was a teenager and have never gotten bored of it yet!
I'm honestly looking to find a good connection with someone where the conversation flows and we can always find something to talk about. I don't mind keeping things online due to distance, but would also be willing to meet in person if we end up living close enough and seem to be interested in each other. If I sound the least bit interesting, please feel free to send me a chat/message request. Looking forward to talking to you!
