Dating people is kind of like eating frozen mango chunks – you have to wait a long time for them to warm up and sometimes the ones you think are going to be really good end up being bitter and gross.

Anyway, obviously snacking while writing this. I’d like to think I am one of the sweeter chunks out there lol.

I’ve done a lot of personal growth over a pretty short amount of time. It all started with getting an ADHD diagnosis last year. After some therapy and some meds, I seem to have unlocked being able to do all the things! I’m on track with my goals, life is navigable, and my zest for life has been stronger than ever! I am far from perfect but I am always working towards improving something!

So I’m in a decent place now and would love to have a partner to enhance all the great things in life with, and help each other through the not so great things. All the while encouraging each other to be the best we can be. I’ve been alternating between dipping my toes back into dating and being content with the idea of being single forever, but ultimately I think I would be doing myself and my potential match a disservice not to try putting myself out there a little longer. I am looking for a long term relationship, not interested in hooking up or fwb or any of the other things that aren’t the goal of a long term relationship.

My interests are hiking, camping- trying winter camping for the first time this year!, road trips, working on my health (mental and physical), artsy stuff like going to craft markets and occasionally drawing or painting, photography, music, watching good TV series, to name a few things... right now I'm thinking of trying either canoeing or kayaking but still looking into all the logistics and stuff. Soon I'm going to take a class and attempt to get an amateur radio license- which might be a little more math-heavy than I can handle, but I'll do my best! I just really like learning and collecting new hobbies (bonus if they can teach me something to improve daily life too).

As for my appearance, I have some extra curves but not plus sized, 165cm tall, short blonde hair (sometimes dyed any colour of the rainbow but currently natural), blue/green eyes.

I value kindness and empathy in others. If either of those is a struggle for you then I’m running the other way. I am childfree and I’m not interested in dating guys who have kids already either. I am also only interested in monogamy. And I prefer someone around my age, 34-44 range.

Realistically, someone in SW Ontario vaguely between London and Toronto would work best since I think that’s a manageable radius being able to travel to see someone somewhat regularly. I am not tied to my location (in fact I would prefer to move one day), but I will be here for a bit longer so yeah.
