Ima pre-face this request with saying if you’re one to ghost with not having a conversation like normal adults then please don’t bother messaging. I’ll be honest, it hurt being Ghosted with no explanation.

So hopefully this will weed out the 20% of you are ghosters.

Anyways, let’s get down to business!

Who am I? You sure you want to know? The story of my life is not for the feint of heart. If somebody said it was a happy little tale, if somebody told you I was your average ordinary guy, not a care in the world, somebody lied. But let me assure you, this, like any story worth telling, is all about a girl. That girl … You!

I’m 33 from the U.K. An East Londoner through and through born and raised (you get me bruh!). I come from a South Asian background and was born and raised as a Muslim. I’m not the best Muslim, but I try. We’re all weak in aspects. No ones perfect. But I do the bare minimum atleast. I pray, I fast and do whatever good I can.

Now I’ve probably lost 80% of those of you who were reading.

I am a huge foodie that loves to try new culinary delights from cuisines around the world (as long as it meets my dietary restrictions!).

As much as I love food, my sweet tooth is even bigger! As they say, the way to a man’s heart is through his belly! Make me your best dessert and I’m yours!

I’d consider myself as being independent. I can cook. I can clean. I can bake. I can fix things! I can do anything I put my mind to!

I can be funny at times (when my funny bone is in place) and also very romantic with the right person. I’d consider myself gentle, yet assertive.

I enjoy being outdoors in nature. Anywhere with trees, open spaces and the beach. My idea of a romantic moment would be a quiet walk on the beach at night, just me and you listening to the waves of the ocean and staring at the stars.

Big crowds and busy places make me uncomfortable (funny considering I’m a Londoner!).

I enjoy the simple things in life. A hug can go a long way. My love language is physical touch, followed by words of affirmation and quality time.

I’m a couple inches under 6ft (sounds better this way!). I have a dad bod style body although I have been working on it over the last year. Recently hit a plateau due to some stressful times, but not getting back on track.

So what am I looking for?

First and foremost, you’re a Muslim. That’s important to me.

Now I’ve probably lost 90% of you who began reading.

I’d like you to be practising to the extent that you pray and fast as a bare minimum and are a hijabi.

Guess that pool has now dropped down to 95%

You’re someone that has high aspirations in life. You want to support your partner in his journey through life, and likewise he will support you.

You enjoy the simple things in life. You like to explore the big wide world around us. You don’t mind getting lost (not just in my dreamy eyes) and adventuring to find our way again. You’re open to exploring everything in life. And you have a secret romantic, loving side to you that’s waiting to be unleashed with the right person.
