I'm a librarian in my professional life. I love reading, playing board games with my friends, indie Switch video games, NBA basketball, and music. Music is my life, really. I'm always listening to it. Playlists are like a love language to me. I'm also a huge fan of physical touch....cuddling, kissing, hand-holding....although I guess that will be hard online. Lol. I'd say I'm an emotional person. I feel things very deeply. I love hard. I'm kind of intense, I suppose. And a bit guarded. And shy. But when I find someone I'm comfortable with and who can make me laugh and feel safe, I open up quickly.

I'm not sure what I'm looking for, really. I had a fairly serious relationship end a bit ago, and it left me feeling a bit discouraged. And online dated is awful, in my opinion. I hate it so much. So I guess I decided to explore other methods of meeting people.

I'm looking for someone who makes me feel safe to be myself. I like men who are confident in who they are, even if it's a quiet confidence. I'm attracted to men who are in touch with their emotions. I like finding someone who can make me laugh and also someone who is comfortable being vulnerable with me. I'm not a fan of things that are just surface level. I can't do that. I like intimacy. I like compassion and empathy. I like tenderness and sweetness and someone who can make me feel special. It's a lot to ask, I suppose.

I'd love to move this off reddit ASAP. I'm not a fan of the chatting feature here. I'd also love it if we could eventually have phone calls and text during the day. I'd just really like to feel special again.... and I'd like to find someone who I think is special and who I can make feel equally as special.
