After a delightfully (and perhaps slightly self-inflicted) long break, I'm trading rolling blackouts for warm summer days returning to my first love, Seattle. Think of it as a geographical reincarnation - same sardonic wit, just a tad less heat.
Me? Oh, I'm the kind of person who quotes Nora Ephron movies on first dates (unironically, of course), can hold my own in a debate about the best place for clam chowder, and wouldn't be caught dead with an umbrella that doesn't match my outfit. (Okay, im lying. I love colourful imbrellas and quirky rainboots for slpashing in puddles)
You? Someone who appreciates a good laugh, doesn't take themselves too seriously, and wouldn't mind getting caught in a downpour with a takeout container of pho (im craving it!)and a witty repartee [very NB]. Bonus points if you can navigate a ferry without getting seasick (because let's be honest, some things are dealbreakers).
THE PLOT? Let's rewrite the Seattle rom-com narrative. No grand gestures on the Space Needle, no sleep deprivation fueled by heartbreak. Just good conversation, shared laughter, and maybe even a hint of that magical "When Harry Met Sally" spark. (Though hopefully with a less drawn out ending.)
If this sounds like your cup of joe (or should I say, Pike Place roast?), send a message!
P.S. Please, for the love of all things caffeinated, don't mention the load shedding. I dont love talking aboit it.Trust me, I'm well-versed in the existential angst of a darkened apartment.
