Hey there Redditors, I'm Michael and I'm hoping to find that special someone here today. As the title indicates, I'm 35 and I'm a childless guy living in the far west of Maryland near West Virginia. I make up for my lack of kids (I am definitely open to having a rugrat or two) by taking care of the stray and feral cats in my area alongside my forever rescues. My forevers are named Merlin and Freckles and the strays/ferals are Underfoot, Rascal, Monkey D. Kitty, Werlin, Twerlin, and Midnight. A lot right? But they need help and who am I to deny it. I recently even helped rescue a few dogs down in Texas but they're now out of my hands but they did successfully avoid execution. The animals that I take care of temporarily bind me to this area though so I don't think I'll be moving out of Maryland for at least a couple years but - beyond that - I would love to move up north or maybe even to Europe if we were feeling particularly adventurous! But more than likely not Europe, that's just a huge jump. I've had some terrible luck with long-distance relationships so I would really like to find someone who lives rather close or someone who is willing to travel or move as soon as we both feel comfortable. With that in mind, someone with dogs or children might not be the best fit for me given that I take care of some very skittish cats and I wouldn't want to introduce them to any danger.

So enough about my animals, it's time for about me! I'm 5'10'', nerdy but with great hygiene, am a fan of so many different things fantasy like Harry Potter and so many different things science fiction like Warhammer, I love to travel and can't wait to find a partner to jump out of the country with again, I love horror and all things spooky and Halloween, I love animals (duh!), I work in Computer Science and have a very solid career, I live alone but I do rent with the intention to buy once I am able to find a location that I like, and I absolutely love taking care of other people! You might even call me a caregiver because I love helping others. My favorite show is Attack on Titan and I'll definitely have you watch it with me if you haven't seen it yet and my favorite band is Ghost. I love sharing things with my significant other and I want her to share everything with me right back. I love having music days where we have a couple drinks and just alternate songs back and forth, I love having a little mini bookclub where we read together, I love cuddling and falling asleep together - even at a distance on camera, and I love trying silly and different ways to make someone happy.

As for you? Well I'd like you to be free enough to move down when we feel comfortable. I don't think I can handle another long-distance relationship. I am more than secure enough to help you during your transition whenever that happens. I'd like it if you were childfree - like me - so we could learn and grow together if we decide to have a couple kids. Please be strong with your communication skills so that our relationship can grow and please have some similar interests to mine so that we can create shared happy and loving memories. I'm ready to settle down with my Forever and please want that as well. Also please do not be tied up with an ex or living with one or anything like that. That's just a recipe for disaster.
