It's Mother's day, and I'm here looking for a way to avoid the forced socialization at a Mother's Day gathering. You see, I have been informed that reading a book is rude. Whereas, being on your phone is acceptable (I don't understand, but those are the rules I was provided). I will have a book on my phone, but what if I have you on my phone too?

Things about me:

introvert (avoid people when possible, they are exhausting)
avid reader (bibliophiles for life!)
- fantasy, romantasy, romance, sci-fi, mystery, etc.
sarcastic and dry humor
over-educated
knows very few movies, you will need to keep a really long list of what I should watch
tend to watch the same tv shows for comfort and avoidance of decision making
- West Wing (current watch), Law and Order (OG), ER, Law and Order SVU (not a big fan once Stabler leaves)
Early bird, and enjoy early bird specials. Plus, I don't drink, so I'm a cheap date.
- I'm single, so I do date, just not often....because dating is a socially acceptable form of torture (in my opinion)
Always trying to improve myself (currently through rowing in the mornings, on a machine, I do not have a boat, or time for taking a boat to water and all that entails)
