I'm here looking to meet a woman with whom to chat about life, hopes, dreams, and hopefully find my person.

Someone emotionally available and willing to talk and meet regularly in person is preferable. Ideally somebody local or reasonably close to the Portland, Oregon area within about 2 to 4 hours driving distance. I am not interested in online or long distance relationships.

About Me

I work as a Network Engineer for a small IT company and live in the Tualatin/Sherwood area of the Portland, Oregon area. I live alone and have one pet in my home. I am 6 feet tall. Hazel eyes with short brown hair and facial hair. I am Broad shouldered and on the bigger side for now as I am actively losing weight. I am doing everything I can to be fit and healthy. I can provide pictures of myself on request.

I am honest, loyal, dutiful, kind, affectionate, and aim to please. I am, of course, nowhere near perfect. But I have a longing to grow and hope I can do so with someone special.

I'm a mega nerd but I'd like to think I carry it well. My pastimes include gaming (Usually involving D&D or video games like Soulslikes or MetroidVania games), tinkering (fixing computers, radios, or any other electronic devices,) movies/TV (mostly high-fantasy, comedy or sci-fi, also serious drama,) going on long walks, cooking, and going to the beach.

I regularly go to therapy and am continually working on being emotionally self aware and intelligent. My primary love languages are physical touch/words of affirmation and my attachment style is Anxious/Preoccupied. If you have questions about what these mean please feel free to ask and I'll explain. And please do because these things are very important and relevant to my needs within a relationship.

My Ideal Person

The person I'd like to meet should be someone caring and affectionate who likes taking charge when the need arises. They are strong, confident, Funny, Forthright, Compassionate, Nurturing, Encouraging and supportive. Someone kind and loving but with a bit of a subtle and playful mean streak who loves teasing their partner. But most importantly, she has a solid footing in her own life and is emotionally mature.

Having similar interests to my own or similar enthusiasm for their own hobbies and interests is a plus! (Nerdy Girls to the front!!!) And of course I'm always open to learning about new activities that we can share and explore together. Equal partnership and chemistry in and out of a dynamic is important to me.
