Happy Sunday everyone! Spring has sprung, the weather is improving and we can all stop hibernating. It’s time to seek out new connections and meet new people.
I live in the Washington DC area but I’m originally from Ireland. Meaning I have an accent. Some people find it endearing, others ask me if I’m “legal”. If you fall into the latter camp, we likely won’t get along. But if you happen to like accents, a good sense of humour, great conversation and don’t view human beings as being “illegal” then we will likely get along great.
I try to stay pretty active. Almost every day I’ll take a long, meandering walk to the fridge. I run frequently, usually to Target for snacks but at least I’m running. And I lift. Lift cakes out of the oven. But I do genuinely enjoy cycling and try to get in a ride every single day. I also try to cycle every day. Work takes up a lot of my time but I view that as something I do to enable me to live and make a conscious effort to not define my identity or personality by the work I do. That being said, I think my work is pretty cool.
