Hello dear reader,

Congratulations for clicking on my eccentric and brainfart of a post. The answer to my title: Because Ken always comes in a box. In my defense, I'm a little weird and sleep-deprived because my sleep schedule is messed up. This is not my attempt to date or find my partner because I've tried that with online dating apps and oh boy let me tell you, that was one dumpster fire of an experience and I'm still recovering from it. This got me wondering the same thing you're probably thinking, "Why is it so goddamn difficult to date these days?". And after wracking my brain for what seemed like an eternity(an hour), I have decided to take a hiatus from OLD and be myself on Reddit.

I am your run-of-the-mill tech employee who's a slave to the corporate overlords working a 9-5 job that i actually find fulfilling. Partially I like the pay so I can live the kinda life I want to, it also involves being able to help people which I enjoy. Like most other folks that work in IT these days, I'm brown..the indian kind. Recently moved to the midwest from California and still getting the hang of things here. I have spent some time in midwest years ago but I'm still not acclimated to the weather, guess I was spoiled by the west coast weather. I like to cook in my free time because I find it relaxing and meal prep(YAY). Usually on the weekends you'll find me joyriding around town on my motorcycle, granted the weather is nice and warm. Not a gym rat by any measure but I do like going to the gym at least 3-4 times a week because I love food especially the unhealthy kind. Being outdoors is probably one of the things I truly enjoy and feel my true self.Like i mentioned before, this isn't my attempt to date or find my person.

So you might be wondering "What is this weirdo going on about?". Well, I'm just looking for a friend(maybe, depends). Include the word fubar in your message if you reach out. I don't have any friends in the area. With the move and all the things that come it, I'm still very much going through the motions of settling down. We can be friends, vent to each other about anything, our days, and share conspiracy theories and controversial opinions(if you got any). I just ask you to be female and closer to me in age and somewhere in the US. Now I'm aware these days everyone's so touchy about their beliefs and opinions, if you're one of those people who can't even stand the thought of conducting a civil discussion with someone with opposing views..you can stop reading right now and save yourself time. I believe our differences are what makes us unique and interesting(not everyone of us, depends) and that said I'm always down to talk about the things that unite us as well as divide us. An example: Most women these days think listening to Rogan's podcast is a redflag for guys, just like how I think believing in astrology is a redflag for women, I'm just kidding..was trying to give an example. I've marked the post and not safe for because I'm chill with the conversation going that way(not mandatory).
